Nestled in the hills of southern Michigan is your new favorite place to stay, explore, and relax. We are in the planning stages of building camping and glamping sites, but not just yet. We want to take our time learning the land and understand what our best and most sustainable options are.
That doesn’t mean you can’t come visit us! Nature education is an important aspect of Leaf and Feather Farms and we want to share our 12 acres of Michigan paradise. We also want to showcase what this region has to offer, with its many parks and wildlife areas.

Monthly Free Nature Walks
Join us every 4th Saturday in 2025 for a nature walk, either at Leaf and Feather Farms or another local park.
Free to attend though donations are welcome. Parking is limited so carpooling is always appreciated.

Private Guided Tours
Want to dive deeper into Michigan’s unique ecosystems and wildlife? Come to Leaf and Feather Farms for a guided tour, tailored to your individual interests and goals. Whether you are a seasoned birder looking for a new hotspot, a photographer searching for that perfect shot, or someone who wants to discover the beauty of the Irish Hills, we can guide your nature experience. Learn how to find and identify different plants and animals, and grow your nature-based skills with biologists Sydney and John.
We are offering 2 hour or more guided tours for groups up to 6 people. We have no set price, but rather ask you pay what you feel like is fair for the experience. Light refreshments will be provided.
