Imagine waking up to a chorus of bird calls right outside your private cabin. You walk outside and look out over the wetland, hearing common yellowthroats and red-winged blackbirds as they begin their day. A private trail system takes you through the wetland and into the forest, where wood thrush and rose-breasted grosbeak call. Dive deeper into the ecosystems around you with a guided nature tour from your hosts and then relax in the evening with a home-cooked meal.

This is our dream, a space where people come to unwind, learn, and connect with the natural world around them.

Leaf and Feather Farms sits on 12 acres of beautiful forest, wetland, and open field. The land rises and falls, a testament to the power of the glaciers that once covered this region. Artesian wells, where water bubbles up from the ground, create a creek that runs the length of the property. Though we are in the middle of an agricultural region, this place is an oasis of nature, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Leaf and Feather Farms is in its beginning stages of growth as we work to build our property and realize our dream of establishing a small nature preserve with comfortable accommodations and opportunities for nature tours, classes, relaxation and workshops.
